Internal Communication Plan

Prior to implementing the GRMS Risk Assessment Program, it is crucial that the implementation is communicated throughout your organization.  You can expect that in some cases Suppliers will reach out directly to company employees to ask about the program and whether or not they should participate.  If company employees are not aware of the program, they may give incorrect or incomplete information which may cause confusion for the Supplier.

In an effort to strengthen our company’s risk management program and ensure we are in compliance with internationally mandated laws and regulations, (Company Name) has partnered with GRMS | Global Risk Management Solutions to create the (Company Name) Supplier Risk Assessment Program (Program) as part of our risk management policies.

It is with great pleasure that I announce the Go Live of the (Company Name) Supplier Risk Assessment Program on (Implementation Date).

The Program is designed to streamline the collection and management of key information regarding the regulatory and compliance status as well as business operations of our suppliers, vendors and service providers.

As part of our supplier qualification, we now require suppliers, vendors and service providers who conduct business with (Company Name) to participate by enrolling and passing the risk assessment program through GRMS.

Key points follow:

  • Suppliers, vendors and service providers must enroll in the Program and pass (Company Name)’s risk assessment criteria and provide the documentation requested.
  • For all companies, there is a non-refundable $XXX USD annual enrollment fee associated with the Program.
  • THIS IS NOT A PERSONAL CREDIT CHECK – PERSONAL CREDIT CHECKS ARE NOT PERFORMED.
  • The Suppliers will be able to view the results of the risk assessment and have the opportunity to correct any deficiencies.
  • Failure to participate in this Program may require (Company Name) to reconsider use of the Supplier’s products and/or services.
